The Trip Finger transfers the movement of the Trip Arm to lowering the Rudder Cam. The Trip Finger is connected to the shaft of the Trip Arm with a compression spring. The compression spring is held in place on the shaft, which has a flat spot for the spring and to the Trip Finger which has a tab for the spring. The shaft of the Trip Arm pass thru an opening in the Trip Finger
