Hi-Pro keys are used to lock pulleys and gears to transmission shafts. By design, these parts firmly embed into a keyway and can rock in the seat for adjustment to angular spines. Hi-Pro ("high profile") keys possess "feet" that make installation in production lines much faster and more efficient. Upon installation, these feet provide additional resistance against movement in the keyway.
